Votum, which has been awarded two Michelin stars, is located in a modern extension to the historic Leineschloss. That’s right, the Lower Saxony state parliament is located in the annex.
The political theme is reflected in the menu. Chef Benjamin Gallein’s creative fine dining creations are presented as the first vote, with the recommended wine accompaniment as the second vote.
The restaurant is large – there is also space here for the more down-to-earth second restaurant Schorse. Transparent curtains between the dining areas create a cozy atmosphere.
