Located on the quiet corner of Heinestraße, a cosmopolitan-looking boulevard in Vienna’s Leopoldstadt district, the eatery owned by former banker Jürgen Sattler offers food as well as design of the highest order.
In the building’s challenging triangular floor plan, Viennese architecture firm smartvoll strove to preserve the clarity of the space and complement it with warm materials. The kitchen, positioned somewhat loftily and centrally, opens up views of the culinary ambition.
The patinated brass arches, the entrance portal and the brass washbasins serve as visual links between the different rooms of the restaurant
