The team of BWM Architekten brings Scandinavian virtues to Vienna with the redesign of the ViennArt Hotel in the popular Spittelberg district: Both the floral focus and the deliberately open interior design ensure casual coziness.
The heart of the hotel is the centrally located, glass-roofed courtyard, which is divided into zones by differently designed parquet floors. Here you’ll find a fountain from which Viennese high spring water gushes, an area with an open fireplace and a fireside library feel, and an indoor garden that acts as a gentle room divider.
On the way to the rooms, corridors in dark colors provide deceleration; in the rooms themselves, elements of Viennese wickerwork are reminiscent of the city outside the hotel door.
The green facade is a preview of the lush plant life inside the hotel
