London’s Jonathan Tuckey Design and Danish Architekt Sigurd Larsen took on the task to re-design the hotel originally designed by Werner Aisslinger. Now the hotel located in a former lighting manufacture close to the Oberbaumbrücke now features 23 additional rooms and a newly designed lobby area. A series of amber colored 50s and 60s style chandeliers radiate here; the sitting area is now dominated by wooden sofas. On the fourth floor, Jonathan Tuckey created a suite that is minimalistic but not cold: Earthy, soft shades, paired with sandy, beige curtains and bed covers radiate charming warmth.
