The Hyperion is a place steeped in history. It is located in the Palais Faber, a building built in 1874 in the style of Vienna’s Ringstrasse architecture in the immediate vicinity of Mirabell Palace.
The design of the hotel with 115 rooms and suites, which opened its doors in the summer of 2022, was the responsibility of the Unykat design office in Wels. It was based on historical plans and strives to harmoniously combine the Wilhelminian era and the spirit of the times, playful architecture and straightforward design.
The high, spacious rooms, classic elements such as herringbone parquet flooring or brass applications create a dignified basic atmosphere, while modern details such as the choice of materials or the eye-catching wallpaper in the bar provide a contemporary counterpoint.
