Star chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, who runs the famous chain Nobu together with Robert De Niro, is celebrated all over the world for his Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine.
The team opened opened their largest restaurant in their second American hotel in Miami. Hotel and restaurant are located in Miami Beach’s emblem, the skyscraper Eden Roc, built in the 50s by architects Morris Lapidus.
Miami’s Nobu was designed in the style of a contemporary Japanese beach house. For the restaurant, this means Venetian alabaster, white bent oak panels and crimped installation of Washi paper floating above tables and chairs.
Besides the restaurant, the space also offers a sushi bar, a lounge and a Teppanyaki room.
