Wynwood is Miami’s art district and a hyper-active gallery scene. Of course, this atmosphere also calls for creative culinary art, such as the one of the Alter restaurant.
Chef Bradley Kilgore focuses on seasonal cuisine and Florida’s regional products. He is lucky because the Sunshine State offers tropical fruits and a wide variety of vegetables. The state is located directly at the Atlantic – the home of loads of fish and seafood – and local farmers deliver quality meat.
The interior is spartan. Raw walls, simple wooden chairs, visible pipes and neon signs radiate a relaxed atmosphere. Nothing is as ‘last season’ as a formal gourmet temple – even if you are one of the ten best restaurants in the US.
The “Soft Egg” with truffle slivers and clam foam is the signature dish of the restaurant and absolutely amazing!
