Alchemist

Architect Rene Gonzalez’s concept for the Alchemist store in Miami reminds visitors of an isolated box. The idea was to transfer shoppers into a calm atmosphere away from the bustle of the city. The room’s foam walls and mirrors create a futuristic mood of an individual universe. Symmetric patterns on the walls and hidden LED lights add to this.

The shop offers fashion by lables such as Céline, ­Givenchy and Alaïa. It also sells collectors items – for example a book signed by Patti Smith or a painting book from Keith Haring.
