Mammertsberg

spacious. warm. inviting. relaxing.
HOTEL Restaurant
St. Gallen

The Mammertsberg is located in a classic Swiss villa of 1911 and offers a direct view of the Lake Constance as well as the wonderful Vorarlberg and the Appenzell Alps. The Danish design studio Space Copenhagen enhanced the original chalet architecture with an interior design concept that combines past and future.

The given proportions, including the high ceilings, generous openings and paneled walls, were used to create warm and inviting spaces. In the restaurant it is about to stage the culinary talent of Swiss chef Silvio Germann.

Space Copenhagen had to adapt their work to the requirements of the historic status of the building and the given elements – among them the monumental spiral staircase by architect Tilla Theus. It connects the restaurant on the ground floor with the bar and lounge on the first floor.

Besides the interior of the restaurant, six adjacent guest rooms were also rejuvenated, Every room was furnished individually but also features a common design language in which guests can relax after a day in the Alps.

An exciting melange of past and future
