Joseph Brot goes Salzburg – for the first branch outside of Vienna, Josef Weghaupt relies on the city of Mozart. In the Münzgasse, he has carefully revitalized an existing store in a proven collaboration with architect Thomas Pauli.
The bread counter is clad with ceramic tiles in brilliant white, the surface was designed with wood and Adnet marble. The typical terrazzo floor from the Gierer factory in the southern Waldviertel region also forms an identity with the other branches of the Waldviertel bakery.
Natural materials in the bakery underline the character of the house – the gray conglomerate of the facade continues with the sandy beige tone inside the room
