After four years of comprehensive renovation, the InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu re-opened its sublime doors in 2019. The former hospital is among the best known building in the city and, besides the luxury hotel, also hosts an atmospheric shopping mall with many restaurants.
The renovation of the complex is the largest private re-design of a historic building in France up to date. Those checking into the InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu can expect a breathtaking experience. The architectural highlight of the hotel is the 32 meter high Grand Dome under which one can feel the full glory of the building while enjoying a cup of copy and sitting on custom made furniture by Ligne Roset.
