Fripon is a classic Belgian bistro that eschews all frills and hipster fashions. The menu features dishes like crispy fried shrimp croquettes or Americain with mayonnaise, fries and salad, all made with local ingredients, accompanied by Belgian craft beer and organic wines.
In keeping with this ethos of authenticity, the ambience is also one of unpretentious elegance. Anaïs Terwagne designed the interior. For the walls, she used a special technique reminiscent of the Moroccan plaster tadelakt. The interior was designed by Anaïs Terwagne.
The bistro is located in the Hotel Le Berger, where in the 1930s husbands pursued their double life with their mistresses
