Basso is both an international restaurant and aperitif venue, and is connected to a bar-club. After light and healthy lunch creations at noon, things get a bit more refined in the evening.
Then a succession of different “bites” is served – coordinated small dishes for the possibility of different taste experiences, optionally consisting of Basso classics or as a surprise variation.
The operators also run Mezzo, which recently opened in Basel: a Neapolitan pizzeria.
Fine dining cravings are the wrong thing to bring here; guests can expect an informal, family setting. The exchange between guests and the kitchen is definitely desired.
