Regarding the artistic manufacture of premium furniture, the fruitful hilly landscape between Lake Como and Milan can look back on centuries of craftsmanship tradition. Here, in the so called Brianza, Luigi und Paolo Bestetti founded Baxter in 1990, a typical Italian family enterprise that holds up old tradition.
Baxter especially stands out with its love for material and the care of manufacturing culture. This especially applies to the material leather: From the careful selection of the skins to the premium manufacturing process by experienced masters to the unique design by reputed designers. The metamorphosis of the material is so unique that it is often called magical.
Hence, rooms furnished with the company’s furniture radiate a very special atmosphere. The company internal maxim is to always achieve a harmony that goes beyond the single piece, to mix materials, colors and textures in a manner that balances tradition and innovation.
