Reconstruction of a 2,000 square meter large sausage factory to an exciting gastronomy cluster: Usine’s concept is divided into three areas – “Bistro 38”, “Poche 36” and Café. They are grouped around a central structure of black iron braces that fulfill different functions.

Other areas have been added to the overall concept, such as take-away, reception and conference rooms. The style: Scandinavian minimalism with an industrial twist – a combination found in hotels and restaurants in Shanghai, New York or Amsterdam – characterize the restaurant complex.

Maple, cognac colored leather, white tiles, wrought-iron details as well as a fig tree contribute to a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

On a culinary level, the place also offers variety: The “Bistro 38” offers comfort food in the atmosphere of Halumi-Burger, Risotto and Steak; the “Poche 36” serves tapas of Ceviche, Pata Negra and truffle salami.

Interesting: They did not save concrete here: A total of 48 tons of this material were used for the floors, the two bars, the reception counter, the huge sofa table as well as the 3.5 meter long sink in the bathroom.
