A prolific collaboration of the Ilmiodesign creatives Andrea Spada and Michele Corbani in the context of the redesign of two private club rooms of the Grupo Ramsés: The Kave and The Gallery are located in the same building and are connected via a clandestine alley – a playful reminder of the prohibition of the 1920s and the common unofficial Speakeasy bars of those times.

The result is a project with a very specific character that refers to the given architecture. Its walls and ceilings were layed bare, the history of the construction and elementary materials such as brick, wood, stone and relicts of an old blacksmith’s shop were revealed – whereby Spada and Corbani also make use of another specialty of the studio Ilmiodesign, suggestive lighting.

A lot of space to drink: The Gallery has 160 meters, The Kave 152.
