The Spanish agrado stands for steht für pleasure, comfort and the likes. cineasts think of a famous character in Pedro Almodóvar’s “All about my Mother”.
The Kando Estudio made the term their starting point for the design of a bar that combines modernity, design and tradition harmoniously. Earthy shades associating coffee and skin tones are supposed to enable that.
Two large murals by Koral Antolín adorn the walls. Japanese inspired lights by Jaime Hayon hang above a blue traditional Castilian table in the middle of the room.
The Agrado Cafe is located in the lively, multi-ethnic quarter El Rastro.
