The hotel address at the intersection of two streets named after Portuguese explorers of Africa Roberto Ivens and Hermenegildo Capelo inspired the design of this home for modern explorers.
In designing the 87 rooms, reception and various common areas, Cristina Matos Atelier combined natural materials such as linen, cotton, wood, leather or Lioz stone in neutral tones and created a sensual atmosphere with carpets, fabrics and wallpaper.
The decor of Rocco Restaurant, Crudo Bar and lobby area is by Lázaro Rosa-Violán.
