Skabos Hage is a ground floor restaurant in the renovated and extended hotel Scandic Sjølyst. The interior mirrors the band width of the Skøyen district’s history that since its founding was a nature idyll as well as one of Oslo’s industrial center.
In the past the Skabo Railway Car Factory was located where the hotel is now. In the inside of the restaurant, you can recognize the traces of the industrial history via brick tables and the ceiling with open pipes. But the restaurant also radiates a proximity to nature, seen with the used colors and plants.
The restaurant also has a Chambre séparée: The Greenhouse can be rented for meetings and parties
