In Esperanto, the artificial language, Sereneco means “serenity” – and this is exactly what the Brooklyn all-day dining restaurant exudes.

The Usonia architecture of the legendary mid-century hero Frank Lloyd Wright is a kindred spirit to the Esperanto that gives the restaurant its name – the interior designers at Carpenter + Mason borrowed from it and also paid their respects to the building itself.

Sereneco is located on the first floor of the historic Pencil Factory Building, with striking green tiles on the façade and lots of light oak wood inside. Light-colored exposed concrete floors and raw brick walls match the industrial chic style.
