Julia Komp’s Michelin-starred restaurant stands for fine dining on the one hand – Sahila’s menu features changing international dishes, from Vietnamese summer rolls to Austrian horseradish foam soup.

Sommeliers help choose the wine pairing from a first-rate and extensive selection. In addition, the adjoining Yu*lia mezze bar serves Oriental bites, or rather, delicious little works of art.

The furnishings come almost entirely from Morocco, sourced also through a King’s cooperative that supports women in the crafts. Komp, who incidentally is Germany’s youngest star chef, got to know the flavors she brings to the table herself during numerous trips around the world.

Her kitchen team, which comes from nine nations, is also multicultural.

The name of the mezze bar comes from Yunus and Julia. Yunus Özananar is Komp’s life partner and co-owner
