The interior design of the Precise Tale Berlin Potsdamer Platz is intended to convey the feeling of being on a film set. Elements from different eras that could not be assigned to any particular place of origin in terms of look are deliberately chosen to transport the guest to a “magical extraterritorial place.”

This romanticized ambiance is enhanced by subdued lighting and an interior composed of natural materials (lots of wood, cane and stone). The color palette used focused on muted, warm beige and dark green tones. The furniture is mostly custom-made and complemented by select design proucts.

In addition to the 61 rooms and suites, the 4-star property has serviced apartments – accommodations that can be rented out for longer periods with separate living, sleeping and dining areas. Also worth mentioning is the gastronomic offering, which includes three separate establishments, and in particular the Israeli-Levantine Berta.

Behind it is Assaf Granit, who already runs successful restaurants in London and Tel Aviv. At Berta, he serves modern interpretations of what his Berlin-born grandmother of the same name used to put on the table.

The design team found much inspiration in the aesthetic language of film director Wes Anderson
