Freya Brown and Marike Holla come from the fashion business. With their concept store they fulfilled themselves their big dream of a small department store that is bestowed according to their taste. The duo chose Amsterdam-Oost for the second Pek & Kleren branch. They offer a hand-chosen selection of clothes, jewelry and household goods; the interior was designed by them. Starting point was the dynamic: Every piece of furniture has to be able to move or change. Hence, the room stays flexible and one thing is for sure: it will never get boring!
Those curious to find out how it all began, should get on the ferry behind Centraal-Station and ride to Noord. This where the first Pek & Kleren shop opened its doors in 2015.
