Etienne Ryckeboer’s restaurant is located in the ninth’s Arrondissement between the Grands Boulevards and the Rue la Fayette. Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu combined to historic substance of the Hausmann Era building with the minimalism of the 21st Century.

Instead of a radical renovation, revealed material finds were integrated into the aesthetic concept and let the interior of the melt harmoniously with its surroundings.

A white tiled wall encompasses the wooden dining area. Guests have the choice to dine at tables on the sides or at the community dining table in the center. A cylinder shaped metal lamp hangs above it.

With its 52 square meters, the Papi is rather small – the strategically placed mirrors let it appear larger.
