“Less is more” is not a typical slogan for a hotel – but exactly right for Charlotte Gomez de Orozco.
She wants to give her guests the feeling of visiting friends and create a contrast to the busy city life with her oasis of calmness.
That is why the rooms are painted in a warm beige tone that is enhanced by the greenish blue of head boards and curtains – according to Feng Shui both are said to calm the mind.
Far Eastern strengthening is also in the focus at the Hoy: The hotel’s Yoga Floor offers up to six hours per day.
Instead of TVs, each room has mini ballet bars that are supposed to motivate guests to stretch.
