The central design element of this all-day location is a black-and-white bar inspired by the 50s – and by those Milk Bars that Greek emigrants got to know in Australia. Open from all sides, the central bar is surrounded by a sitting area that connects inside and outside. An overarching theme joins this: the creation of a surreal garden.
A multitude of architectural and landscape elements of natural and artificial elements, colors, shapes and patterns contributes as much as an enchanting interplay of light, shade and reflection. All this adds up to a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere that is a nice alternative to the pulsating intensity of the main bar.
The concept of the Mild (Tsiou) Bar is based on a humorous translation of the Leoforos Galatsiou address: In Greek, the word “galatsiou” includes the word for the beeping sound of birds.
