Kakuru is a jewelry store that is located in a very small, two-story building in the historic center of Athens. That does not change that the interior feels as if it would float. Showcases, mirrors, lights, delicate furniture elements and lowered glass facade of the attic floor contribute to this effect. The special connection of product and showcase give the interior further lightness.
Olive wood, bronze and green marble are the most important used jewelry materials. The lively, bright green color and the varied use of marble also dominate the interior design. Almost all metal surfaces are colored in green. The terrazzo floor is divided by bronze metal strips and also shows pigments of green stone.
Large mirrors – hanging or turnable – create spatial depth, light up surprising views and contribute to the subtle spatial interpretations of the Kakuru creations.
