Jan Luyken lived in 17th century Amsterdam and was an engraver, illustrator and poet – poems full of love for his beloved and for God. The boutique hotel named after him in the Museum District features a retro mix of colors and shapes, materials and patterns.
The hotel’s cozy library, with a carpet on which cranes fly, is particularly beautiful. Nearby are the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum.
The entrance area is an insider tip, as it is part of an art route of the Amsterdam Zuid municipality
