The history of the building is inextricably interwoven with the name of Johann Strauss – his father played at the opening in 1837, and later his son let his waltz hits resound here.
Viennese architect Denis Košutić’s design motto “Johann Strauß Superstar” is a monument to both of them – with an interior in which furniture and accessories radiate feather-light optimism.
Delicate wallpaper flowers meet glittering golden details, velvet-covered seating in bright colors contrasts with black marble and neon light rockets on the ceiling.
A fountain in the garden provides refreshment
