“A hotel in which tradition does not mean looking back. It means celebrating looking forward.“ That is what the Hotel Grand Ferdinand is all about. The hotel respectfully holds the elegance of Vienna’s past and catapults its 188 rooms and three restaurants into the now.
This place is not the first project of Florian Weitzer. After four other projects, he wanted to to add a radiant hotel to Vienna’s capitol. And he lets extravagant details speak for themselves: among others, nostalgically swung head boards, mirrors framed with leather belts and ceramic light switches. The oasis in the atrium, the rooftop pool or a city tour in a historic Jaguar are all stunning – without excluding anyone.
A night in the 100 square meter large Grand Suite with private terrace, walk-in closet and view of the Prater ferris wheel costs 3,000 Euros. But there is also space for smaller budgets. You can book a bunkbed in one of the six or eight-bed rooms at Airbnb for 30 Euros.
