High ceilings, huge old wooden windows, chandeliers from another era: The pub in the building of the former freight station breathes history – and contributes most beautifully to the revitalization of the new “Neue Mitte Altona” district being built around it.

Since last summer, restaurant guests have been served contemporary interpretations of down-to-earth dishes (ox cheek, “chocolate malheur”) instead of trains.

The aim of the redesign: to preserve the openness of the main space and the original station feeling.
