The main restaurant of The five-star superior hotel Astoria is located in Seefeld, Tyrol, in the unique mountain landscape of the Karwendel mountains on 1200 meters height. Since June 2019, its main restaurant presents itself not only with a new name but also with a new look. Renamed to ‘Der Max’, its sunburned wood, creme colored fabrics and elegant light architecture create a contemporary ambience. With linen covered ear chairs, cozy lounge sofas as well as black table lamps and chandeliers the theme of ‘Tyrollean Living’ was staged with a modern Zeitgeist.
However, the innovative gourmet cuisine of the restaurant has not changed. And that for good reasons: Chef Andreas Rank and Sous Chef Benedict Jacob received a Gault-Millau award for ten years in a row.
The second restaurant of the Astoria was also renamed and redesigned: In the Salon Ferdinand, guests are spoiled with the same award winning gourmet cuisine as in the Max. The salon convinces with a lively color concept and offers the perfect room for private parties and events.
