There are places that feel right immediately. A peaceful beach. An authentic restaurant. Or a living room furnished with soul.
The Stue (“Stue” = Sanish for living room) is such a place. The hotel with its 76 rooms and five suites is located in the landmarked 30s building of the royal Danish embassy with its classic facade and modern annex.
Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola created a delicate atmosphere in this urban retreat. Guests feel immediately at ease. The interplay of design and nature is unique and sometimes even surreal.
Hand crafted wood parquet, muted colors, tactile fabrics and sensorial shapes meet ostriches and antelopes of the zoo next door and the enchanted green of the adjacent Tiergarten through huge windows.
