OltrArno is an authentic, artsy quarter in the South of Florence. The building of the new AdAstra hotel is owned by the old-established dignified Torrigiani family, whose Marchese still lives on the ground floor.
The circumferential 270 square meter large hotel terrace offers the best view onto the Giardino Torrigiani – Europe’s largest private garden.
The interior is an eclectic mix of old and new. Baroque and linear. In the rooms, bathtubs with lion feet stand next to Italian design classics from the 50s and 60s. Elaborate chandeliers hang next to industrial photography.
The reception counter in the lobby stems from a mid-century optician.
