Taipeh’s second Aloft location brings modern accents to the historic hot springs resort Beitou. The hotel with its 292 rooms is only a few steps away from the warm springs. Downtown Taipeh is only a short subway ride away.
The interior mix might seem familiar and associates other Aloft hotels: Lively colors reflect the special preference of the youthful chain for music and modern technology, while design classics such as Verner Panton’s Heart Cone Chair radiate a progressive attitude.
The guest rooms and public areas feature works of regional artists, some with motives typical for Beitou and specially crafted for the Aloft Taipei Beitou.
The six meter high ceiling of the ground floor lounge has been endowed with lights made of wooden butterfly wings – a hint towards Taiwan’s zoological reputation as butterfly heartland. A huge room high LED wall in pixel look completes the futuristic look.
