“Go for the terrace, stay for the tacos,” writes the city magazine “The Beijinger” about this Vietnamese restaurant. China’s capital has long since taken on multicultural traits – ranging from Chinese regional cuisines to the culinary arts of various neighboring Asian countries.
However, the latest branch of Susu Restaurants not only focuses on modern interpretations of Vietnamese dishes and a trendy cocktail bar. What is also exciting here is the further development of historic breeze blocks – air-permeable decorative bricks that are widely used in the sultry Asian climate.
Architect Gao Nan draws on colors and motifs that combine modern aspects of Susu with Beijing’s historical heritage.
The blue, which is significant for the company’s identity, is taken up in this interior design by means of different nuances and color gradients.
