The name says it all: The design of the Tea Room théATRE by Jessica Wu and Mengjie Liu, the founders of Shanghai’s Só Studio, is intended to place China’s ceremonial enjoyment of tea at the center of the interior design concept.

This is achieved through elegant lighting and calm interior design, using different warm light colors depending on the time of day – also reminiscent of theater stages.

Tea culture is also interpreted here as a connecting element between West and East – this is indicated by quotes on the walls
