TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK blends seamlessly into the vibrant Okushibu district – while maintaining a hyper-relaxed ethos. Central: The concept of “Urban Recharge” blends city and nature, tradition and modernity, leisure and festivity, and the local community and visitors from outside.

Inspired by the diverse colors and moods of Tokyo, the project embodies the interplay of contrasting but harmonious elements. The design balances rawness and sophistication, as well as Japanese and European craft traditions.

The creative team behind the hotel is also a collaboration marked by contrasts: while Keiji Ashizawa Design oversaw all architecture and worked closely with the local TRUNK team, Denmark’s Norm Architects were commissioned to design the hotel’s interior. TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK thus brings together global design expertise, with each team sharing common values and a holistic approach to interior design, architecture and design.

The concrete façade is adorned with lush plantings that create an arch to the nearby park. The foliage not only enhances the exterior, but also symbolizes the effort to create a peaceful sanctuary in the midst of the bustling city.

The Pizzeria e Trattoria L’ombelico can accommodate up to sixty-seven guests
