The hotel is located on the top seven floors of the “Tokyo Garden Terrace” skyscraper. With its 180 meters height, it offers a panoramic view of the city and all the way to the Fuji.
The height and the kaleidoscopic color and shape design that feature Tokyo from above were the inspiration for the design concept developed by designer and architect David Rockwell. The 250 rooms feature seemingly floating furniture.
To pay tribute to the term ‘gallery’ in its name, the hotel exhibits abstract art by young, emerging Japanese artists.
