Debut in Saudi Arabia: With Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea the group celebrates its first home in the desert region. In ancient times, a busy trade route was located here, on which luxury goods such as silk, incense and textiles were transported. Since 2023, Six Senses has wanted to immerse its guests in this culture, picking up on accents of the desert. In the interior, these are reflected in tones and textures.
To enjoy the view of the landscape, the villas are distributed over various hills. The special backdrop is also provided by undulating roofs inspired by the shape of a dune. The centerpiece of the resort, however, is “The Oasis.” The canopy, inspired by a desert flower, provides shade. It houses the reception, lobby, a boutique, meeting and prayer rooms, a community lounge and the Earth Lab.
Surrounding The Oasis are rooms with open-plan sleeping and living areas and an outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. In total, the resort includes 36 guest rooms and suites and 40 pool villas.
