The Felix Meritis on the Keizersgracht is an iconic building in Amsterdam’s urban history. Opened in 1788, it was home to artists, musicians, scientists or the Communist Party, which had its headquarters here for a long time.
And for Ramses Shaffy, famous actor, singer and drinker, who ran an avant-garde theater here. The Shaffy Restobar, which will open in the fall of 2021, is named after him.
Offering dishes prepared with a haute-cuisine ethos, but approachable and affordable to share. And beautiful views of understatement luxury and the canal outside the tall windows.
