In the beginning there was the bucket. Then a table, an armchair – the rest is design history. Vipp has opened its fifth studio hotel in the Pencil Factory. Located in a 1930s Bauhaus-inspired former pencil factory, it, like its four siblings, has just a single room.
Designed by Julie Cloos Mølsgaard, the ground-level apartment is accessible via a sunny courtyard, and for the interior the Dane has combined warm materials with Nordic understated design to create a harmonious counterpoint to the industrial setting. In addition to the cozy bedroom, the open kitchen with the “V1” model is an inviting place to relax after a long day in the city.
In the same building there is the restaurant Supper Club – it is only a few steps to the extraordinary dinner
