After a radical renovation of the restaurant legend, only the red entrance corridor still recalls the distinctive red hue of the former main dining room. The bar room is dominated by warm mustard tones, reused retro ceiling lights and a mirrored counter.
The blue dining room was named after a ceiling fresco discovered during the remodel. Matej Stupica’s “White Room” is a veritable synthesis of the arts: it shows scenes, views and objects from the turbulent history of this house, which for decades was mainly frequented by writers and artists.
In order not to obscure the frescoes, architect Andrej Mercina gave the Tom Dixon ceiling lamp a new shape
