The Orient Occident Hotel Istanbul joins the Autograph Collection and brings the brand’s philosophy to the Turkish peninsula for the first time. The boutique hotel is located just a few meters from the Spice Bazaar in the center of Istanbul. The Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia are all within walking distance.

The historic hotel building from 1900 is a prime example of “Belle Epoque” architecture and comprises 40 luxuriously designed rooms. The architect responsible for the restoration work was Stephan Hamamdjian, whose aim was to preserve the historical past.

Inspired by the influences of the West and East, as well as the aristocratic spirit of Istanbul, the hotel’s color palette is dominated by deep blues and greens, as well as a rich burgundy.

In the Mezzepotamia restaurant and bar on the hotel’s roof terrace, guests can enjoy a view of the Bosphorus alongside the Mediterranean menu. Whether it’s a freshly baked croissant or a delicious petit fours with your coffee, the Orient Occident patisserie offers a generous selection of sweet treats.

Guests can retreat to the tranquil spaces of the Occident Spa with Turkish bath, sauna, steam room, outdoor pool and fitness center
