The luxurious beach refuge is embedded in the jade colored green of the pacific rain forest and stretches across a 33 acre large area of untouched nature. Consequently, the resort was planned carefully in order to preserve the natural environment as well as bring nature inside.
Open structures capture the natural light flowing through the tree tops in the 105 free standing tree houses and Cliff Villas. Room high windows and sturdy wood floors, walls and ceilings intensify the impression of being in nature in the tree houses. The villas open to a private patio with lush vegetation. This is topped by bath tubs and showers with jungle or sea view.
Architecture and design are shaped by natural, local material such as adobe, Cumaru wood, fine metal and volcano stone. Speaking of local: interior elements, wood and stone work, decorations as well as textiles were custom made by local craftsmen.
