An aging resort near Europe’s southernmost city, owned by the young company Numo Hotels & Resorts, which wants to bring Greek hospitality into the present.
And London-based design firm Studio Lost with the task of giving it a new soul. The vision: to create a place for barefoot luxury, “bohemian refinement” that draws from nature. It has succeeded.
The seventeen expansive, low-rise buildings with 132 rooms and suites feel like a modern Greek village (there’s even a chapel). Cozy terraces, enticing pools, open-air cinema, sun loungers with sea views, lush gardens, palm trees and tamarisk trees make for a memorable stay.
The swimming pool surrounded by a large bar and restaurant area is the heart of the resort
