The proximate surrounding of a hotel building could not be more exciting: We are talking about the De Rotterdam, Rem Kolhaas’ iconic building that connects three towers.
“Manhattan along the Maas” is what inhabitants of Rotterdam call this district that stands out with its spectacular skyline and a lot of art initiatives and now also hosts the nhow Rotterdam. It features 278 rooms as well as meeting and event spaces.
Concrete, metal with golden accents, video walls and of course the works of local artists underline the importance of design and art within this hotel.
The architecture also plays a big role: The nhow Rotterdam is Rem Koolhaas’ first and so far only hotel building.
Not only interesting for hotel guests: A large public terrace looks over the Erasmus bridge and Rotterdam’s skyline.
