Star chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa – who runs the famous restaurant chain Nobu with Robert De Niro – arrived in Munich, where he offers the absolute contrast to Bavaria’s traditional cuisine such as Weißwurst and Leberkäse.
In the Mandarin Oriental’s restaurant, he serves his perfect, celebrated Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine – including a super minimalist ambience and noble materials such as real horse hair and mother of pearl.
His international signature dishes of course also have their validity in Bavaria. Among them Sashimi of black cod and yellow tail tuna with Jalapenos, grilled dishes such as lamb braised over tea leaves with Peruvian Anticucho sauce as well as traditional sushi.
Special Tips
In a partially separated dining area, up to ten people can enjoy “Omakase”, a special culinary menu composed by the chef.
