The Latta was inspired by American soda brands from the 50s and with the consciousness for a softdrink megatrend – natural drinks with a low level of alcohol.

The Italian word for can also stands for canned beverages that are traditionally associated with lower quality ingredients. Now they contain fermented cocktails, fine organic wines and trendy street food made of the highest grade ingredients and with a specific Roman touch.

The interior design also is a subtle composition. Here, the restaurant was inspired by American pharmacies and rolled sheet metal. Because Latta can also be described as container, a minimalist touch is also visible that confidently denies the post-industrial cookie cutter look of the past years.

The boxes on the wall, inspired by US artist Donald Judd, contain plants.
