This restaurant is located in the foyer of the new Ottawa-Art-Gallery building that was named after the painter A. Y. Jackson – a famous representative in the history of Canadian Post-Impressionism and Modernism.

He became famous for his authentic way of rendering classic landscape painting. The room ensemble which includes an elegant restaurant, a cocktail bar and a café with take-away area was designed by the Canadian architecture studio KPMB. Thanks to its premium artistic approach it stand for itself.

The merits summed up: Airy, open and inviting, the Jackson offers a hear-warming dining experience.

Homage to the patron: The stairs above the Jackson and the brass fixtures were inspired by the original stairs of the Firestone residence designed in the 1960s
